We have been running the top youth basketball leagues, tourneys and clinics in the entire Midwest for over 25 years. We also offer ball handling and fundamentals clinics, summer camps and AAU programs. In the 2023-2024 season, over 2600 teams from the entire Tri-state participated in our basketball leagues and tourneys and over 30,000 compete in our sponsored events.

WINTER EVENTS:
WINTER LEAGUE - This league will consist of a 10-game schedule to be held December 6th through February 16th (off December 23rd-31st). We will also hold a postseason tournament from February 22nd-March 2nd. Games will be held on the weekends primarily at Landmark, Friars, and SOAS Sports Complexes, but also allow teams to play home games at their own facility. PRESIDENTS DAY FOOTWORK AND FINISHING CLINIC - Join renowned basketball trainer Kevin Duncan of AIR KEV BASKETBALL, powered by I’m Possible Training, for an exclusive Finishing Clinic designed to take your basketball skills to the next level! Kevin Duncan is a certified Skill Enhancement Trainer with AIR KEV LLC and I’m Possible Training. He is an international Skill Enhancement Trainer and a member of the Basketball Trainers Association. During this intensive clinic, you’ll master the Eleven Principles of Great Finishers to become unstoppable at the rim: Don’t miss this opportunity to refine your finishing skills and gain a competitive edge on the court! This camp is geared towards players 4th grade and above, and will be ran Monday, February 17th from 9:00-2:00 PM at Landmark Athletic Center (Lunch Break at 12:00 PM; please bring a lunch). SPRING EVENTS:
SPRING TRYOUTS
The Cincinnati Royals are proud to be entering our 33rd year as a program, and for the 2025 season we will be merging under the umbrella of H-Brand Basketball and Headlines Sports. While many of our existing teams are taking their current roster and moving it under this umbrella there will also be additional new teams created. We're hoping to have as many as 2 teams per grade level (3rd-8th for the H-Brand girls side) and 3 teams per grade for the H-Brand Royals on the boys side (Grades 2nd-8th).
Because of this merger, we are asking that everyone register and attend tryouts at Spooky Nook in Hamilton on February 17th & 19th (see graphic below). This is important for a couple of reasons - first, because we are creating new teams we're asking that all coaches assist with the tryout process even if they are bringing an existing roster over. Second, there be some changes made to how fees are collected and dispersed that will be explained along with other details about how the program will operate during the tryouts. Because this is new, we're making a concerted effort to get everyone on the same page right away by communicating this to parents during tryouts so there is no confusion. SPRING LEAGUE - This league will consist of a 10 game schedule to be held March 16th through May 29th. We will also hold a postseason tournament the week of May 30th through June 6th. Games will be held on Tuesday through Thursdays 5:30 - 9:30 PM, and on Sundays from 12:00 - 9:00. Games will be held primarily at Landmark, Friars and SOAS Sports Complexes. SPRING DRILLS N SKILLS - This spring the Cincinnati Royals and Southwestern Ohio Basketball will be offering a program for players who are looking to improve the fundamentals of their game. This program has had over 6300 participants in the last twleve years. It is eight weeks of intense ball-handling, skill development and drills. This year we will be adding some new features to the program. This program takes place on Mondays in the spring beginning on March 17th and ending on May 5th. There will be 1 hour of drills each Monday (6:00-7:00 for 1st-4th, 7:00-8:00 for 5th and 6th, and 8:00-9:00 for Jr. High and Up). The cost for our Drills N Skills is $85 for all 8 sessions, or $15 per session if you want to pay on a weekly basis. For more info on our Drills N Skills Program, please CLICK HERE
SPRING KINGS PLAYER SIGN UP - We are offering a program for those individual players who cannot make the AAU commitment, but are looking to improve their game this spring. No tryout necessary. All Teams will play in our 10-game spring league at Landmark & Friars, including a post-season tournament. Each team will practice at least once a week, and players on each team will be invited to our Drills N Skills program on Monday's at no extra cost.
